Which data do we process and why?
Contact form
When you send us a message via the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We only use this data to answer your question. We keep it no longer than necessary to handle your question, with a maximum of 12 months.
Website statistics (Google Analytics)
If you give your consent, we use Google Analytics to see how the website is used, for example which pages are visited most. This helps us improve the site. We have configured Google Analytics so that your IP address is not stored, Google does not use the data for its own purposes or advertising, and data is deleted after 2 months. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google. Google may process data in the United States; Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you do not give consent, we place no analytics cookies and send nothing to Google Analytics.
Cookies
Only if you give consent does Google Analytics place the cookies _ga and _ga_* to measure visits. These are kept for up to 2 years. We store your cookie choice in your browser so we don't have to ask on every visit. This is not tracking data; we ask again after one year. You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Third-party services
To run the website we use Webflow (website hosting), Google Fonts and jsDelivr (fonts and scripts). Technical data such as your IP address reaches these services because your browser retrieves files from them. We do not sell your data and do not share it with others, unless required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to processing or withdraw your consent. To do so, send an email to info@waarvanakte.eu. We will respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We take appropriate measures to protect your data. The website uses a secure connection (https).
